Gamma ray emission from interstellar clouds - A plasma physical process capable of enhancing electron fluxes
Abstract
Cos B measurements suggest that electrons play a dominant role in gamma-ray production in the Galaxy. A process is discussed which can significantly enhance relativistic electron intensities inside molecular clouds. If this process is as common in the Galaxy as the theory suggests, bremsstrahlung emission will be significantly enhanced too.
